Who We Are
ServeMinnesota is the state's hub for AmeriCorps service. we support nearly 2,000 members statewide each year who are committed to making Minnesota a better place to learn, work and live. Our 17 programs are focused on transformative change within education, affordable housing, employment, the environment, and addiction recovery.
What We Do
Children who are strong readers by the end of third grade are positioned to be strong learners for the rest of their lives. By combining the people power of AmeriCorps with leading-edge literacy research, Minnesota Reading Corps helps make sure every student in the state is ready to learn. Reading Corps provides students with one-on-one literacy tutoring targeted to their needs. We provide training and coaching for tutors.
