A special Poetry event will take place at Sweet Reads, featuring 6 guest poets from around Minnesota. Volunteers will need to assist in the setting up of the area, greeting guests, and cleaning up of the area.
The League of Minnesota Poets launches Agates IndyBookStore Tour, the statewide book tour for their 86th volume of poetry, Agates. More than 60 Minnesota poets will read in about 30 independent bookstores throughout Minnesota in the coming months. "We're doing this to celebrate and spotlight Minnesota's literary wealth of poets and independent bookstores," said Amanda Bailey, President of the League of Minnesota Poets. This is a Minnesota-Made event.
