Help organize and prepare the Riverland College Campus Food Pantry storage room for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester.
Volunteers will:
- Organize inventory by category,
- Stack boxes,
- Establish overstock areas, and
- Label storage locations.
No Experience Needed
No experience is necessary. Training and guidance will be provided at the beginning of the shift.
Scholarship & Service Hours Available
This opportunity is ideal for high school students seeking Hormel Foundation Austin Assurance Scholarship (THFAAS) volunteer hours, service-learning hours, scholarship service requirements, or anyone looking to make a positive impact in the community by supporting student basic needs.
Volunteer Expectations
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Volunteers should be prepared to stand, bend, and lift light to moderate-weight items throughout the shift.

Wheelchair-accessible volunteer tasks are available. Please contact the Food Pantry Supervisor if you have any accommodation requests.
Flexible Participation
Volunteers are welcome to register for one, two, or all three days (July 7–9).
Check-In Location
Please report to the Riverland College West Building Cafeteria (A235) at the start of your scheduled shift. Volunteers will check in and receive instructions before beginning work.

Volunteers Under Age 18
Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian-signed waiver on file before participating. Please bring the completed waiver on the day of service or submit it via email in advance.
