Austin Aspires will be hosting Block Parties at Shirley Theel Park on select Thursdays throughout the summer. The hope is to support parents/caregivers in their role, encourage a safe summer, and to bring summer fun out to that area of Austin. Each Thursday will have a different activity.
Volunteers will be responsible for helping Aspires staff set up and take down the event. Volunteers will be participating in a Braids, Bubbles, and Books event. Volunteers will help with hair braiding, assisting in bubble play, and handing out books to children. Ages of children may have a wide range and their safety is top priority, along with having fun!!
