Austin Aspires will be hosting Block Parties at Shirley Theel Park on select Thursdays throughout the summer. The hope is to support parents/caregivers in their role, encourage a safe summer, and to bring summer fun out to that area of Austin. Each Thursday will have a different activity.
This event will include school communications on how to use the school portal, registration, etc for adults. Children will participate in a track and field event with the Park and Rec. Childrens ages range. Volunteers will participate in different track and field events, monitor and ensure safety of children, and HAVE FUN!!
As a volunteer you will help with set up and take down of the event!
Dinner is provided!
