Volunteers will serve as navigators and interpreters, assisting attendees as they move through the event and helping them access the services they need.
Volunteer Responsibilities: • Greet and walk alongside attendees as needed • Ask questions to understand what services they are seeking • Help interpret and translate when possible • Guide individuals to the appropriate resource tables • Maintain confidentiality and show sensitivity to personal situations
Materials Provided: • Event maps • Information on available services
***Requirements: • Ability to communicate in multiple languages is highly needed• Must be respectful, maintain confidentiality, and be sensitive to individuals and families in need
