Spend the afternoon helping care for animals in our community!
The Mower County Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe shelter, compassionate care, and adoption services for homeless animals while promoting responsible pet ownership.
During this two-hour volunteer experience, interns will:
Learn about the Humane Society's mission and the care provided to animals awaiting their forever homes.
Help clean and maintain the facility by washing floors, walls, vents, and other common areas.
Support staff by creating a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the animals.
Your volunteer service will help improve the daily lives of the animals while supporting the staff and volunteers who care for them.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes, as this project involves cleaning the facility.
