The Backpack Program was created to ensure children have reliable weekend food sources. As Austin Public Schools has shifted to distance learning through the month of December, volunteers are needed to help pass out food bags in the different distribution sites on busses.
As a volunteer you will,
- Meet up at Austin First United Methodist Church at 1:30
- Will help load the busses with the boxes containing the food bags
- Ride the busses to the distribution sites
- Hand out food bags from 2:00-4:00
- Return to the church and unload
- All ages welcome -
