The Community Wide Backpack Program was created to ensure children have reliable weekend food sources. Help pack bags of food for students in the Mower County area on the Backpack Program at Austin First Church.
Evenings shifts available, please register below for the shift that works better for you.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Help to sort out food to be packed
- Pack nonperishable food in plastic bags
- Arrive at Austin First Church ( 204 1st Ave NW - Used the side door. Follow signs.
- Wear a mask
- Socially distance yourself from other volunteers
