On select Thursdays throughout the summer we offer free "Nature Play" afternoons for families and children. While our staff is helping out with free canoe & kayak rental, pond scooping, and programming we need a volunteer to clerk the front desk!
Our front desk clerks are the first faces the public sees, and if you're a "people-person" this might be the job for you! These clerks will help direct guests to activities and events, as well as answer questions from patrons, the phone, and help sell merchandise from our gift shop.
Nature Play days are busy and not a good day to begin training on the front desk, so our volunteers MUST have experience at the front desk prior to signing up for a Nature Play shift. Want to sign up, but don't have experience? Check out our weekend front desk shifts and sign up to gain experience!
