Objective: Assist families with language barriers in understanding event information and accessing early childhood program resources for their children.

Responsibilities:

Provide interpretation support at booths, activities, and workshops.Help families ask questions about preschool and early childhood programs.Translate key materials or conversations as needed.Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Spanish.Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with diverse families.Knowledge of early childhood education is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment: January 27th from 9:30am-1:30pm 4 Hours

Objective: Welcome guests and provide clear directions to ensure a positive experience at the Preschool Showcase.

Responsibilities:

Greet attendees warmly as they arrive.Answer general questions and direct families to specific locations or resources.Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of the event layout (this will be provided).Dependable and enthusiastic about helping others.

Time Commitment: Saturday, January 17th from 9:30am-1:00pm 3.5 hours

Impact: Your role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring families have a smooth and enjoyable event experience!

Objective: Support the smooth operation of the Preschool Showcase by assisting with event setup tasks.

Responsibilities:

Set up tables, chairs, and display materials before the event.Arrange signage and decorations as directed.Assist organizations with booth setup if needed.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and move light to moderate objects (e.g., tables and chairs).Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions.A positive, team-oriented attitude.

Time Commitment: Saturday, January 25th from 8:30am-10:30am 2 Hours

You will receive an email from the designated event supervisor to indicate the language you support.Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with diverse families.Knowledge of early childhood education is a plus but not required.
