Cedar River Watershed District is a local government unit based in Austin with a focus on doing projects that reduce flooding; improve water quality; and enhances water recreation in the watershed.
Volunteer opportunities exist with CRWD mainly through river and/or shoreline trash cleanups, including through the district's Adopt-A-River program. We Are Water MN, a statewide traveling exhibit, also will have volunteer opportunities before, during and after the exhibit is hosted April 27-June 16, 2018, at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center in Austin.
