Who We Are

Crime Victims Resource Center (CVRC), established in 1977, is a non-profit organization assisting victims of crime.  We are a grant funded program, receiving funds from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety - Office of Justice Programs, The United Way of Mower County, and The Hormel Foundation.  All of our services are free and confidential.

What We Do

We provide victim centered services that promote growth and recovery.  Services provided include: 24 hour crisis hot line, crisis counseling, safety planning, emergency services support (dispersing emergency funds, shelter, transportation, food), support/education groups, support during hospital examinations, support during police reporting, assistance with Orders for Protection and Harassment Restraining Orders, court advocacy, victim rights information, community and professional education, options, and referrals to other agencies.
