We are looking for mentors to work with students at Nevlen Elementary School in helping them complete their science fair projects.  No preparation for mentoring is necessary.  We provide all the supplies and directions for mentors and students.  ...

Friday Jan 10,2020.  Help to set up Hastings Gym for the VEX Robotics Tournament.  

You will need to watch training videos and you will be responsible for reffing the VEX event.  You will work with the head referee.  

You will interview teams and judge robots for the VEX tournament to award all awards.  

You will be interviewing teams and judging teams for all of the awards for the IQ (4th and 5th graders) Tournament.

You are responsible for helping to keep the teams on schedule and letting them know when it is time to head to the Queue Station to compete.  There is a team working together to do this.  So you won't be alone.

You will be responsible for resetting the competition fields between each event.  

Neveln partners with the Salvation Army to provide food for families over the weekends. Volunteers will assist in packaging up several food items that will be distributed to students later that week.
