Water Station Volunteer Duties
Time: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM and 10:15 AM-12:15 PM
Location:
Riverland Community College – Enter through Door 7 (main door) and park in the main entrance parking lot.
Note: A volunteer t-shirt will be provided to help you stand out and be easily recognized.
Arrive early and get ready
- Wear your volunteer t-shirt so students and staff can quickly identify you.
- Carry the event coordinator’s phone number in case questions or emergencies arise.
- Locate your assigned water station before participants arrive.
Provide water to participants
- Hand cups directly to participants as they stop by.
- Keep water organized and refill tables as needed.
Keep the area clean and safe
- Pick up trash frequently to prevent slipping hazards.
- Make sure used cups are going into trash cans instead of on the ground.
Restock as needed
- Reach out to Jayne Gibson immediately if supplies are running low.
- Stay ahead of shortages so no participant goes without water.
