We are looking for a volunteer to serve as a Karen Navigator/Interpreter at our event. This role is essential in helping Karen-speaking attendees access the resources and services they need.
Volunteer Responsibilities: • Greet and walk alongside attendees as needed • Ask questions to understand what services they are seeking • Interpret and translate between Karen and English • Guide individuals to the appropriate resource tables• Maintain confidentiality and show sensitivity to personal situations
Materials Provided: • Event maps • Information on available services
***Requirements: • Must speak Karen. • Ability to communicate clearly in both Karen and English
