Help organize and prepare the Riverland College Campus Food Pantry storage room for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester.
Volunteers will
- Count inventory,
- Record item quantities,
- Verify storage locations,
- Complete final organization
- Clean-up.
No Experience Needed No experience is necessary. Training and guidance will be provided at the beginning of the shift.
Scholarship & Service Hours Available This opportunity is ideal for high school students seeking Hormel Foundation Austin Assurance Scholarship (THFAAS) volunteer hours, service-learning hours, scholarship service requirements, or anyone looking to make a positive impact in the community by supporting student basic needs.
Volunteer Expectations Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Volunteers should be prepared to stand, bend, and lift light to moderate-weight items throughout the shift. Accessibility Wheelchair-accessible volunteer tasks are available. Please contact the Food Pantry Supervisor if you have any accommodation requests.
Flexible Participation
Volunteers are welcome to register for one, two, or all three days (July 7–9).
Check-In Location Please report to the Riverland College West Building Cafeteria (A235) at the start of your scheduled shift. Volunteers will check in and receive instructions before beginning work.
