We are looking for a volunteer to assist with the Farmer's Market held on Monday and Thursday from 4-6 pm. Location: In front of the SPAM Museum on 3rd Avenue NE Austin, MN
We are asking the volunteer manager to be at the market @ 3:45pm and stay until 6:15pm. The Market is open from the end of may through the beginning of October.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Greeting the customers to the market.
* Assisting customers with use of the EBT machines.
* Helping to display informational materials from vendors and the community.
* Assisting new vendors and helping procure new vendors.
* Distributing signs and information marketing the market.
* Lining up musicians or other entertainment 2x month.
Hours would include the market hours 2.5 each Monday and Thursday
Possibly 2 hours during the week to assist as needed.
Dependability and efficiency are required.
