- Check each ticket to ensure the right show date/time, ensure no one brings illicit items into the theatre
- Escort those who need help finding their seats
- Help solve seating disputes
- Show patrons where the bathrooms/concessions line/box office lines are
- Alert manager when patron needs handicapped facilities
- Assist in monitoring house during the show
