The Austin Noon Kiwanis and the Boy Scouts come together to host the Pinewood Derby. The Pinewood Derby is the wood car racing event of the Boy Scouts. The scouts build their own unpowered, unmanned miniature cars, usually from kits containing a block of pine wood, plastic wheels, and metal axles. The track has multiple lanes that slope down to the ground, since the cars are powered by gravity.
We are looking for volunteers to help run cars back to the starting area from the finish line during our races.
