Volunteer for the Mower County Backpack Program!
What is the Backpack Program? During the school year, students enrolled in the program receive a bag filled with food to take home on the weekends. The food is designed to provide children who may be going without food over the weekend to have kid friendly, easy to prepare meals and snacks. Bags are discreetly given to children at the end of the week to take home.
For the SUMMER packing event: Volunteers will help pack bags of food that children and their families will enjoy during the week in the summer. Some might include non-perishable items, other bags will include fruits and vegetables. The food bags will benefit the students and their families in Austin, MN.

Location Update: Austin High School Facility Services. It is across AHS, in the same block as Macphail Center for Music. USE DOOR #11. The door is on 5th Street. Please see map. The star shows Door #11.
You can park on the street or on the McPhail parking lot.
