Austin Aspires will be hosting Block Parties at Shirley Theel Park on select Thursdays throughout the summer. The hope is to support parents/caregivers in their role, encourage a safe summer, and to bring summer fun out to that area of Austin. Each Thursday will have a different activity.
This is the LAST block party event. Adults will be discussing back to school schedules/routines and youth will participate in a big kick ball game (adults may be included). Volunteers will participate in the kick ball game by playing, encouraging teamwork, good sportsmanship, and ensuring the safety of youth at all times.
As a volunteer you will help with set up and take down of the event! Dinner will be provided!
