The Hormel Nature Center invites passionate students to lend a helping hand as part of Student Service Week.
As a student volunteer, you'll participate in identifying and removing invasive plant species at the Nature Center. These non-native plants can outcompete native species, disrupt ecosystems, and harm biodiversity. Engaging in this fun, hands-on activity not only benefits the community but also supports local wildlife.
What to Expect:
- Restoration work
- Hands-on activities
- General clean-up tasks
What to Bring:
- Work gloves
Join us for a rewarding experience where you can make a meaningful difference in the local ecosystem while having a great time outdoors!
